Dolphin Tour

Spinner and bottlenose dolphins off the southern coast, with an 85% chance of sightings.

The tour begins after breakfast with a hotel pick-up and transfer to the fishing village of Kizimkazi. After a life jacket demonstration and briefing you board the dhows and set off in search of dolphins — spinner and bottlenose are the species most often found. You may swim with them while they stay near the boat, though they are wild animals and unlikely to be touched.

The guide then takes you to a snorkelling site, and on the way back you can visit the 12th century mosque at Kizimkazi, the earliest evidence of Islam in East Africa.
