Unguja Island
The main island — beaches, spice farms, forest and the pulse of Stone Town.
Unguja is the larger of Zanzibar’s two islands and the heart of the archipelago’s tourism. Within a short drive you can move from the coral-stone lanes of Stone Town to the red colobus of Jozani, the spice gardens of Kizimbani and the white sand of the north and east coasts.
