Day 1 – City Tour, Spice Tour & Jozani Forest

Start with a guided city tour through lively streets and local markets. Explore the surroundings, browse local shops and capture moments of everyday island life.

Continue to a spice farm to discover cloves, cinnamon, vanilla and other tropical spices. Learn how they grow and how they are used, while enjoying the aromas along the farm’s paths.

Finish your day at Jozani Forest with a guided nature walk. Look out for Zanzibar’s red colobus monkeys among the trees and discover the forest’s varied plant life.

Day 2 – Prison Island & Nakupenda Sandbank

Begin your ocean excursion with a boat ride to Prison Island. Visit the giant tortoises, explore the island’s historic surroundings and enjoy views across the water.

Continue to Nakupenda Sandbank for time on its white sands. Relax, take photographs and enjoy the surrounding turquoise waters, with swimming opportunities when conditions permit.

Return by boat after your sandbank visit. The order of activities on this day depends on tides and weather conditions.
